Behold Your Mother:
Consecration to Our Lady of La Leche

2024 Consecration Flyer.pdf

Christians are consecrated to Jesus Christ by Baptism.

In the 18th Century, St. Louis de Montfort had the spiritual insight that, by consecrating themselves to Mary, Christians could draw closer to Mary and Her Son Alike.

A Person can Consecrate Themselves Any Time of the Year. Here at the Santa Fe Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche, we traditionally make (or renew) our Marian Consecrations on the Feast Day of Our Lady of La Leche (October 11th).

In 2024, we will pray the consecration prayer together in the Shrine Church, at 6pm, on the Vigil of the Feast, Thursday, October 10th. All are Most Welcome to join us.

The 33 Days of Preparation begin on Sunday, September 8th. You can do this preparation from wherever you are located. If you would like to say the daily prayers as part of a group, please email us at shrine@santafeshrine.org

St. Louis's Own Suggestions for daily prayer over the course of the 33 days are available online for Free.

Another set of popular meditations over the 33 days of preparation are written by Fr. Michael Gaitley. This Preparation Book is available On Amazon And in local Catholic Gift Shops. We may have copies of his book to Distribute for Free or Reduced Cost. Please email us at Shrine@SantaFeShrine.org if you need a book.

There are many other resources to help you prepare for consecration. We also suggest Hallow and Formed. If you need assistance accessing these resources, please reach out to us via email.

May the Lord Abundantly Bless Your Preparations for Marian Consecration. we hope to see you on Thursday, October 10th at 6pm in the Shrine to make the Act of Consecration together.
